How RepoRoutes handles your data.
What we hold
Account information for dealers and recovery agencies, the repossession orders you create, condition photos and personal property records captured in the field, and the audit trail of who did what and when.
What the agent sees
The minimum needed to locate and recover the vehicle: customer name, contact numbers, the addresses you supply, and the vehicle. No Social Security number, no payment history, no account balance.
Access logging
Every record view by a recovery agent and every cross-account view by RepoRoutes staff writes an audit row identifying the viewer, the record and the time.
Access expiry
An agent's access to an assignment ends when the job closes. Closed files remain available to the dealer that created them.
Regulated data
Repossession orders contain non-public personal information regulated under the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act. RepoRoutes exists in part so that data stops travelling by text message.
Retention and deletion
Assignment records are retained as your compliance file. Write to hello@reporoutes.com to ask about deletion of an account or a specific record.
